DALLAS -- A feature film shoot about former President Lyndon B. Johnson will again close streets around Dealey Plaza on Monday.
The City said in a press release that roads will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. while the film "LBJ" is in production.
The film stars Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jeffrey Donovan and is about the "political upheaval faced by Lyndon Johnson when he was thrust into the presidency after the assassination of John F. Kennedy."
The following streets will be affected:
- 400 to 600 blocks of Elm Street
- 400 to 600 blocks of Main Street
- 100 block of South Houston
- 100 to 200 blocks of North Houston
- 300 to 600 blocks of Commerce (for a short period of time)
Businesses and parking garages will not be blocked, the City said.
The set is closed to the public, and the City says blank gunfire will be heard at certain times throughout filming.
If rain hinders production, the shoot will move to Tuesday or Wednesday.
Earlier this month production for the mini-series "11/22/63" starring James Franco closed roads around Dealey Plaza for three days.
