The Dallas County Medical Examiner confirms that a 12-year-old Garland boy has died of injuries received last Wednesday while riding his bicycle.
Jaylyn Jackson was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning. He was on his way to play basketball at Northlake Baptist Church when he was hit by an SUV as he crossed Country Club Road.
Garland police said the driver of the SUV was not at fault, and was not cited.
