DALLAS -- A motorist was killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 35E in Dallas early Sunday morning.
Police said it's not clear why a car stopped in the middle of the northbound lanes near the Ledbetter Drive exit. A pickup truck then slammed into the back of the car.
The driver of the car was killed as the wreckage burst into flames.
The driver of the pickup truck was hospitalized, but is expected to survive.
The names of the drivers have not been released.
