DALLAS -- A woman was killed after the car she was riding in was struck by a DART light rail train at South Scyene Road late Monday night.
Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, and DART has since resumed normal operations on the Green Line rail.
The unidentified male driver of the car was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition. The identity of the deceased passenger has not been released.
The DART passengers and train operator were not injured.
