DALLAS — DART rail system services have been restored following a network communication issue Wednesday.
DART said its rail system was experiencing delays this afternoon -- which meant longer evening commutes for riders.
The delay for DART passengers was about 30 minutes, DART said in a release addressing the issue.
"Service has since been restored fully for most trains, and any resulting delays from this issue should be resolved," DART said.
To keep the trains moving, DART said it worked with the police department at the major junctions of the system to move train traffic manually. This included making sure gate arms were working properly at each junction.
DART apologized to everyone who may have been affected by these delays. Additional updates can also be found at DART.org.
