DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will be operating at different times this Thanksgiving. So anyone who will be relying on transportation that day will want to double-check the schedule.
DART said its buses and light rail will be operating on the weekend schedule on both Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. To see what the weekend schedule for your bus or line is, check DART's website here.
The Trinity Railway Express, connecting Dallas and Fort Worth, will not be operating on Thanksgiving. It will be providing Saturday service on Nov. 29.
Holiday service for DART and TRE will continue until regular transit service resumes on Nov. 30.
GoLink, which is DART's on-demand service, will run from 5 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving and Nov. 29 in all zones other than the Inland Port Transportation Management Association Zone, which includes areas in DeSoto, Hutchins, Lancaster and Wilmer.
DART's customer relations center will also be closed on Thanksgiving and reopen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Administrative offices, the customer support center, lost and found and DARTmart will be closed on both Thanksgiving and Friday.
Subscription trips for DART Paratransit will be canceled on Thursday and Friday except for those going to and from dialysis appointments. Reservations remain open on those days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and riders can still call and book trips as needed at DART.org/paratransit.
