Baylor Scott and White Medical Center has made the tough decision to close its Garland hospital.
It opened in 1991 and had been up for sale, but there was not a buyer. The hospital will stop taking patients on Feb. 16, then close operations for Feb. 28.
The hospital posted information on its website for patients. Patient navigators are standing by at 1.844.279.7529 to help patients in need of care during the time period approaching the closure.
