CosMc’s, the new beverage-centric venture from McDonald’s Corp., has secured multiple North Texas locations, according to filings with the state.

The fast food titan announced its beverage-centric concept in December, with plans to open pilot locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio in 2024.

Now, state filings indicate when DFW might get a taste.

CosMc’s Fort Worth will be located at 5341 McPherson Blvd., according to a Feb. 28 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The 1,275-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru is slated to begin construction at the end of this month and be completed in June with an estimated construction cost of $921,000, according to the filing.

And a CosMc's could also be built in Allen, at 1975 Newman Ave., according to a March 11 TDLR filing. Square footage and construction detail were the same as the Fort Worth filing.

It's worth noting that information in TDLR filings is often preliminary and can change, although they offer an early glimpse at construction plans. McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) did not immediately respond to a request for more details.

Meanwhile, a social media sighting pointed to another likely location at Preston Road and Campbell Road in Far North Dallas.

These would likely be the first CosMc's locations outside the chain's home state of Illinois.

While the state filings offered construction timelines, it was not clear when these stores might open. When CosMc's was announced in December, the company teased that DFW residents could expect them by the end of 2024.

The announcement describes CosMc's as "inspired by nostalgia and powered by a menu of bold, refreshing beverages and tasty treats."

The concept offers a menu of coffee, lemonades, tea, slushies and energy drinks, all with customization options. Although its food menu will lack burgers and fries, CosMc’s will offer McDonald’s Egg McMuffin and M&M McFlurry along with its own creations like the creamy avocado tomatillo sandwich and pretzel bites.

The first CosMc’s opened in December in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
