Stonebriar Centre Mall was evacuated Sunday afternoon after two transformers caught on fire.
Firefighters responded to a call at the Frisco mall just after 2 p.m., finding on transformer on fire outside the mall near the Sears. That fire caused another transformer inside the building to catch fire, according to a spokesperson with the City of Frisco.
Frisco Fire called for the west side of the mall near the Sears to be evacuated, and mall security had the entire mall evacuated as a precaution.
Power to the transformers was cut just after 3 p.m., according to the City.
Smoke was still being cleared after the fire was out. Part of the mall was still without power late Sunday afternoon. A cause for the fire had not been determined.
No one was hurt in the incident.
