MCKINNEY, Texas — A 78-year-old man is dead after a structure fire at 1104 Rockwall Street in McKinney Sunday shortly after 2:30 p.m., officials say.
The fire is now under control and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
“A loss of life is never acceptable” said McKinney Fire Marshal Mike Smith in a news release. “We will find the cause of this fire, and use that information to help educate and protect the people of McKinney."
