ALLEN, Texas — Chicken N’ Pickle, an “entertainment complex” with a restaurant, pickleball courts, sports bar, yard games and more broke ground on a location in Allen.
The concept’s fifth Texas location will be at The Farm in Allen, a 135-acre mixed-use development at the southeast corner of Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Drive.
“Chicken N Pickle’s newest venue at The Farm in Allen is a perfect fit,” said Bruce Heller, president of JaRyCo, the developer. “A quality mixed-use development is not about building buildings; it is about providing great experiences. We want unique amenities for The Farm, and Chicken N Pickle certainly helps us meet that goal.”
In Texas, Chicken N’ Pickle has locations in Grand Prairie, Grapevine, and San Antonio. Established in 2016, Chicken N' Pickle now has venues in Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona.
“At Chicken N Pickle, we invented the idea of combining high-quality food, craft cocktails and the ever-growing sport of pickleball,” said Brad Clarke, CEO. “Guests visit our inclusive properties seeking an experience and a place to make memories, and one of the most rewarding things we see is people connecting with family and friends on our pickleball courts or game yard, or over great food and drinks, all under one roof.”
The Farm in Allen is planned to have 1.6 million square feet of office space, 142,000 square feet of retail space, a 150-key hotel, 60,000 square feet of restaurant space, 112 townhomes and 2,400 urban residential units.
“Chicken N' Pickle will set a new standard for family entertainment and dining in Allen,” said Jason Cooley, Allen Community Development Corporation (CDC) executive director. “They will be a vital part of our community, offering a space that fuels play, fosters connections, and contributes to the city's vibrant culture."
