HUTCHINS, Texas — Atlanta-based Chick-Fil-A is nearing the opening of the new Chick-Fil-A Supply distribution center in Hutchins in southern Dallas County.
The facility will supply food and products to Chick-Fil-A restaurants.
The 290,000-plus-square-foot distribution center will have more than 225 staff in its first year, including drivers, and support 225 locally-owned restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, a Chick-Fil-A spokesperson said.
Deliveries are expected to begin from the center by the end of this month and the facility is expected to be full-scale by May.
It’s the seventh Chick-Fil-A Supply distribution center in the country.
“Taking care of the communities we’re part of is as important to Chick-fil-A Supply as it is to our restaurants. In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of North Texas Food Bank, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new distribution center,” a Chick-Fil-A spokesperson said.
