DALLAS — Fans, organizations and business in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are all getting ready to watch the Dallas Mavericks take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, including Boston's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar.

To show support for the Mavericks, three of its locations in the Dallas area will be temporarily rebranding to "Dallas Pizza," starting Wednesday. It will remain this way throughout the seven-game series.

In addition to the new name, Dallas Pizza will be offering Loyalty Members 50% off a single order of wings during all finals games.

"We are proud of our brand, but we love our hometown of Dallas," Dallas Pizza President Jeffrey Melnick stated in a news release. "For the duration of this series, we are choosing to cut ties with that city out east to offer full-throated support of the Mavs."

The names of the following locations will be changed:

  • 2501 E. Lamar Blvd. in Arlington
  • 6501 North Fwy. in Fort Worth
  • 1100 Market Place Blvd in Irving

According to the restaurant, half off wings will be available on Thursday, June 12 and Sunday June 14. This offer has the potential to be extended for Games 5 through 7 if they are necessary.
