DALLAS — A search party found the body of a missing man with ties to North Texas on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO).

The search party included family members of 29-year-old Bryce Dingler, volunteers, and law enforcement.

According to CCSO, an investigation near where Dingler’s white Ford F-150 was found led to the discovery of his body in a densely vegetated field. CCSO said the body was positively identified as Dingler through the investigation on the scene.

Dingler was last seen on July 17 near Butler Road about a mile from Jolly on U.S. Highway 287, deputies said. His cell phone and ID were left inside his truck.

Dingler's last known address ties back to a home in the 200 block of Pinyon Lane in Coppell.

His family was notified, and his body was sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing.
