IRVING, Texas — Irving police are investigating to find out how a man's body ended up in a lake on Friday in the Las Colinas area.
Investigators were called at about 10:15 a.m. after the body was found floating in Lake Carolyn near the 300 block of West Las Colinas Boulevard, south of the Toyota Music Factory. Police said members of the Irving Fire Department's swiftwater rescue team recovered the body and pronounced the person deceased.
Police identified the victim as a 28-year-old male from Irving. The medical examiner’s office is working to identify the cause of death.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this time as police say the investigation is ongoing.
