FORT WORTH, Texas — The Blue Angels returned to North Texas Saturday for the “Wings Over Cowtown” Air Show in Fort Worth.

The Blues are headlining the air show, which also runs Sunday, at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) in Fort Worth.

It’s the first time the Blue Angels have performed for spectators in North Texas since 2020, when the team flew over Dallas and Fort Worth as a show of support for frontline workers in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before that, they’d had two shows in 2019 at the long-running Alliance Air Show in Fort Worth, which doesn’t run anymore.

The Blue Angels also have a connection to the NASJRB. The team is headquartered in Florida, but its support aircraft “Fat Albert” receives maintenance at the base.

Did you miss Saturday’s show? The Blue Angels perform again Sunday, and gates open at 9 a.m.

All on-base parking passes have been claimed, according to the base, but there will be parking available at Ridgmar Mall, where there is a shuttle.
