BEDFORD, Texas — An oil spill shut down eastbound lanes of Texas 183 in Bedford on Friday morning, police said.
The crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. just east of Central Drive, according to police and the Texas Department of Transportation. All the main lanes of eastbound Texas 183 were shut down as crews worked to clean up an oil spill.
No injuries were reported.
Police did not have an estimate on when the highway would reopen. Traffic was being diverted off the highway.
