BEDFORD, Texas — A deadly crash had most of eastbound Texas 183 shut down through Bedford early Monday morning, police said
Officials were working the crash around 5:30 a.m. between Central Drive and Industrial Boulevard, where only one eastbound lane remained opened.
Police said the crash was a fatality, but more information about the crash was not released. The eastbound access road was shut down between Westpark Way and Industrial, though all off ramps along the highway remained open.
Police were expecting the lane closures to last through morning rush hour. The crash was causing heavy delays in the eastbound lanes.
