ARLINGTON, Texas — Police in Arlington are investigating the cause behind a deadly crash that happened Saturday night.
In a news release, officials said they responded to a crash call at 9:58 p.m. at the intersection of South Collins Street and North Webb Ferrell Road.
According to police, there was a Volkswagen driving east on Webb Ferrell and a Silverado going south on Collins. Both vehicles reportedly drove through the intersection and crashed into one another.
Police said the driver of the Volkswagen was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead. Once the victim's loved ones are notified, they will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
The passenger of the Volkswagen and the driver Silverado, who were also not named, were not hurt.
No other information is available at this time.
