DALLAS — TEGNA and the Dallas Mavericks are partnering to locally broadcast a number of the team's remaining games in the 2023-2024 NBA season.
This will lead to a handful of programming changes for some WFAA programming.
Tonight, the Dallas Mavericks' matchup against the Golden State Warriors will tip off at 7:30 p.m. following a 7 p.m. pregame show.
This means ABC's new episode of "Abbott Elementary", which was set to air at 8 p.m., will now air overnight on WFAA at 2:11 a.m. Thursday for the late-night crowds and for those wanting to set up recordings on their DVR-enabled devices.
Antenna users can still watch that episode air live in its usual 8 p.m. timeslot on WFAA's 8.2 over-the-air broadcast signal.
Other schedule programming -- the 7 p.m. episode of "The Conners", the 7:30 p.m. episode of "Not Dead Yet", the 8:30 p.m. "Abbott Elementary" replay and the 9 p.m. showing of "Judge Steve Harvey" -- will also air live on the 8.2 signal. Beyond the late-night airing of the new "Abbott Elementary" episode, however, those other programs will not air on WFAA's main signal.
All of those shows will be available for streaming live on Hulu starting on Thursday morning.

- Tue., Apr. 9 @ Charlotte Hornets, 6 p.m. CT
- Wed., Apr. 10 @ Miami Heat, 6:30 p.m. CT
- Fri. Apr. 12 vs Detroit Pistons, 7:30 p.m. CT
