WYLIE, Texas — A 5-year-old boy riding a bicycle was hit and killed by a vehicle in Wylie Thursday, police say.
Police say they responded to the Glen Knoll Mobile Home Park about a crash that happened outside the community shortly after 6:30 p.m. Thursday and found that a 5-year-old boy, later identified as Jaden Ramos, had been hit by a vehicle.
Ramos was taken to Medical City Dallas, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries, police say.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators, police say.
The crash remains under investigation.
