BENBROOK, Texas — CareFlight has been requested at the scene of a house explosion at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 1187 and Bella Flora Drive in the Benbrook area.
A flash fire caused by what officials think were paint fumes colliding with sparks led to an explosion, according to the Tarrant County Deputy Fire Marshall and other officials. Despite expensive homes in a gated community there are no fire hydrants in this development.
One person has been injured, according to MedStar.
No other information was available from the Fort Worth Fire Department or the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
