Baylor Health opened a new hospital Saturday in Waxahachie, replacing the facility that existed there for 100 years.
Patients were moved from the old hospital to the new location, located at I-35 and highway 287, on Saturday.
The new Waxahachie hospital has 104 beds, a cancer center and an expanded women's health service that includes a labor and delivery unit.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Waxahachie -- the first to be built under that name -- cost $175 million.
