BOYD, Texas — Residents in the city of Boyd can now consume water without boiling it after a water line broke Monday, causing the water system to lose pressure, officials said.
On Monday, Dec. 2, a water line broke at North Wilson Street and North FM 730, according to a social media post from the city of Boyd. Water was briefly off in some spots of town, the social media post states.
A Boil Water Notice was implemented shortly after this break and it has lasted through Wednesday morning. However, the city has deemed that it is no longer necessary.
"Thank you all for your patience during this time," the city wrote.
