Four people found dead inside Fort Worth home identified

Melinda Mercado, 45, Alyssa Parra, 4, and Michael Parra, 1, were fatally shot and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.

The four people found dead inside a home in north Fort Worth earlier this week have been identified.

Melinda Mercado, 45, Alyssa Parra, 4, and Michael Parra, 1, were fatally shot and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office.

Ronald Parra, 32, died of a gunshot wound to his head, and his death was ruled a suicide.

Police found the bodies Monday at a home in the 2000 block of Speckle Drive, near the Sunset Valley Elementary School, which is part of the Keller school district.

Investigators weren't yet calling the incident a murder-suicide, but police said they weren't searching for any outstanding suspects. More information about the case hasn't been released by police.
