BENBROOK, Texas — Updated at 2:50 p.m. to reflect deaths.
Two people were killed in a house fire early Friday, fire officials said.
Firefighters were called early Friday to a home in the 5800 block of Bear Creek Drive, near Crowley Plover Road, about 23 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Neighbors told WFAA that a mother and son lived in the home.
Tarrant County Fire Marshal Randy Renois confirmed two people died, but the identities have not been publicly released.
Officials have not said what caused the fire.
Multiple fire departments were clearing debris from the destroyed home Friday.
