HALTOM CITY -- An intense fire destroyed a Haltom City home late Thursday night, injuring the man who lives there.
The fire started shortly after 10 p.m. at the house in the 2700 block of Kinman Street.
Neighbors posted on social media that they heard "popping" from the fire, but firefighters said they don't believe there was an explosion.
The man who lives inside the home was rushed to the hospital. His condition is not known.
Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
