Teen All Access Pass program offers 10,000 Dallas teenagers free entry to city attractions

The fourth annual program by Dallas Parks and Recreation runs through July at museums, cultural centers and more.

DALLAS — The Dallas Park and Recreation Department just made it easier — and cheaper — for teenagers to enjoy every second of their summer vacation... or at least during July.

The Teen All Access Pass program is back for its fourth year, offering one teen and three guests free entry to museums, cultural centers, outdoor entertainment and more across Dallas.

There are 10,000 passes available on a first-come, first-serve basis only for Dallas residents between the ages of 13 and 17. Teens must register in person at a Dallas recreation center and show proof of residency to claim their pass. Adults cannot pick up a pass on behalf of their teen.

“It is important that families have access to quality leisure recreation programs, facilities, parks and other spaces that add meaning and value to their lives," said Dallas Parks and Recreation Board President Arun Agarwal in a statement. "With help from many of our generous partner organizations, Dallas is giving young people a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy unforgettable experiences and spend time this summer discovering new things to learn and do in the city.”

The program coincides with Park and Recreation Month in July and launched in 2021. During its first year, 7,066 passes were issued resulting in 14,279 free admissions.

“I’m thrilled that our Park and Recreation Department is once again offering the Teen All Access Pass, which has proven year after year to be one of Dallas’ most popular summer initiatives,” said Mayor Eric L. Johnson in a statement. “As part of the third annual Summer of Safety, Dallas teens can enjoy free access to premier Dallas venues all summer with the Teen All Access Pass.”
