A self-headlock?! Check out these photos where it looks like 'The Bear' star Jeremy Allen White is putting himself in a sleeper hold

The actor found himself hilariously positioned while walking the red carpet at the world premiere of his upcoming film 'The Iron Claw' in Dallas on Wednesday night.

DALLAS — The stars were out on Wednesday night in Dallas as the Texas Theatre hosted the world premiere of the upcoming film 'The Iron Claw.'

The A24-produced film, which tells the story of the tragic rise and fall of the North Texas-sprung Von Erich family of wrestling superstars, won't earn its wide release in theaters until Dec. 22. But, on the night the SAG-AFTRA strike ended, the film's cast -- along with other luminaries -- came to Dallas to celebrate the movie's impending arrival on silver screens across the country.

The movie's director, Sean Durkin, was there.

Actors Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson and Stanley Simons -- each playing a different Von Erich brother in the film -- were there, too.

Wrestling fans were delighted to learn also that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was in attendance!

And even Kevin Von Erich himself -- the last surviving member of the world-famous Von Erich wrestling brothers -- was on hand to give the film about his family a stamp of approval.

But the man who stole the red carpet show on this night -- after the fact, anyway -- was actor Jeremy Allen White. The star of 'The Bear' was the last of the cast to walk the media line on Wednesday, and while he charmed his way through video interviews up and down the red carpet, the best thing he did on the night was... pose for old-school photos, actually.

In a set of press photos released by A24 to the media just hours after the premiere, White can be seen in a number of images positioned just perfectly in front of the a promotional photo from the film's cast so that it looks like his character is holding his real-life self in a tense headlock.

That it happened repeatedly -- it can be seen in at least 10 of the photos released by A24! -- makes it seem like an on-purpose stunt.

But maybe it was completely unintentional, an honest-to-goodness accident and one of those great moments in life where the stars just perfectly, hilariously align.

We may never know the full story.

And, truth is, it doesn't really matter. It makes for a funny visual regardless.
