DALLAS — Country star Elle King's tour schedule got a major shakeup following her controversial performance at the Grand Ole Opry last week.
The "Ex's and Oh's" singer's upcoming show on Friday, Jan. 26, at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth has been pushed back eight months. That show has been rescheduled to Sept. 21.
King, 34, has not publicly commented on the concert change. Billy Bob's also did not give a reason for the change.
The decision follows backlash over King's performance at Dolly Parton’s 78th birthday party last week. King reportedly forgot the lyrics to Parton’s song, used profanity, and told the crowd she had been drinking.
Videos of the performance made their rounds on social media showing the ordeal.
She has not made a public comment on the incident.
In an Instagram story post shared on Thursday, King announced the rescheduled dates for five shows in Shipshewana, Indiana; Waukegan, Illinois; Harris, Michigan; and Dallas, Texas.
"Your tickets will be valid for the new dates. If you can't make the new date, refunds are available at the point of purchase. See you there," King wrote.
