DALLAS — Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, is postponing the remainder of his North American tour, including a stop in Dallas.

Glover announced on social media Sept. 9 that he was postponing the rest of his tour “to focus on my physical health for a few weeks.” The announcement came days before he was set to perform at American Airlines Center with Willow (Willow Smith’s musical moniker) Sept. 11.

“ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in North America when they are rescheduled. Thanks for the privacy. Thanks for the support. Thanks for the love,” Glover added.

The rest of the tour was set to include stops at Moody Center in Austin Tuesday. CNN reports the North American leg of the tour was set to wrap up in Chicago Oct. 3 before heading to Europe.

Glover had reportedly previously announced Sunday’s concert in Houston was postponed “due to illness” and had canceled a concert in August, citing “production issues.”

The actor and musician, also known for his roles in “Community,” “Atlanta,” and more, announced his plans to retire his Childish Gambino musical persona, telling the New York Times that it was “not fulfilling.”

Glover released the fifth and final Childish Gambino album “Bando Stone & the New World” in July.
