DALLAS — KIPP Destiny Elementary and KIPP Destiny Middle Schools will be recommended for closure at the end of the 2023-2025 school year, KIPP Texas Public Schools confirmed.
“Due to a confluence of factors similar to what other state districts are facing, including persistent declining enrollment, we regretfully will recommend to the KIPP Texas Board of Directors that KIPP Destiny Elementary and KIPP Destiny Middle Schools close at the end of the 2023-2024 school year,” a KIPP Texas Public Schools spokesperson said. “Our commitment to our staff, students, and families remains unwavering. We are providing comprehensive support to our families and staff, including transfer assistance to other KIPP-Texas-DFW schools or our neighbors in education.”
KIPP Texas Public Schools says their other campuses will remain open for the 2024-2025 school year.
