PROSPER, Texas — Classes will resume Thursday at Rogers Middle School following electrical issues that left the campus in the dark on Wednesday.
In a post on the school's website, power was restored after the Prosper ISD Maintenance Department and electrical contractors repaired the electrical system.
The school is located in the 1000 block of South Coit Road in Prosper.
Wednesday evening, an electrical transformer blew, resulting in several small fires, according to the school's website. The Town of Prosper Fire Department responded and reported no injuries.
