A Dallas pastor faces a felony theft charge for allegedly stealing up to $300,000 from his church, according to an indictment handed up by a Dallas County grand jury.
Wade Charles Davis, 65, of Palmer, was indicted on March 22 after prosecutors say the pastor took money from church accounts.
Davis turned himself into to Dallas Police and posted a $10,000 bond on Tuesday.
The indictment comes after a DPD started an investigation nearly one year ago after two church members came forward with receipts that reflected inappropriate spending.
Davis is due back in Dallas County court on April 11.
