DALLAS — Dallas ISD board trustee Jaime Resendez has resigned.
The school board accepted his resignation at a meeting Tuesday afternoon, school district spokeswoman Robyn Harris said. An election to replace Resendez will be held in May.
The school district did not release more information about Resendez's resignation.
Resendez, whose term expired this year, represented District 4, which includes parts of southeast Dallas, Seagoville and Balch Springs. He was elected to the board in May 2016.
