A woman was shot late Monday night in South Dallas, police said.
She was taken to a local hospital, though police did not know her condition.
Officers responded just before midnight to the shooting scene on the 2400 block of Pennsylvania. When they arrived, police said they found the woman had been shot once in her upper body.
Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
