DALLAS — Dallas police responded to a shooting and home invasion in the Old East Dallas area Thursday.
DPD says the shooting happened at an apartment in the 1400 block of Carroll Avenue. Two men entered another man's apartment without permission, police say.
According to DPD, one of the men entering the home got into a fight with the man inside the apartment. Both men were shot and taken to the hospital; one is stable and the other is in critical condition, police say.
Police didn't identify the men.
Dallas police did not specify how the men were shot and says the investigation is ongoing.
