DALLAS — Two Dallas Police officers have been indicted and could be fired for official oppression.
The indictment says that Sr. Cpl. Yancy Graves and officer Justin Thomas subjected a man to "mistreatment they knew was unlawful" last June.
Graves and Thomas forced the man to become an informant by threatening to arrest him for possession of marijuana unless he cooperated with them, sources told News 8. The indictment also states that the man would have his vehicle towed if he didn't cooperate.
Graves and Thomas then allowed the man to keep the marijuana he purchased, News 8 learned.
The indictment was filed on May 7.
