DALLAS — The crimes of Billy Chemirmir, who was suspected in a series of murders at retirement communities in North Texas, is the focus of the new Paramount+ docuseries, “Pillowcase Murders.”
Chemirmir was convicted in 2022 of killing two women in Dallas County but was suspected of killing many more in Dallas and Collin counties.
It was one woman’s account of surviving an attack in 2018 in which she told police a man had forced his way into her apartment at an independent living community for seniors, tried to smother her with a pillow, and took her jewelry that set Chemirmir’s arrest in motion.
Chemirmir was killed by his prison cellmate in 2023 while serving two life sentences.
The three-part docuseries premiered this week. For more information about the docuseries, visit the Paramount+ website.
