ROWLETT -- A grand jury has indicted three men, including the victim's fiancé, for capital murder in the fatal shooting of a Rowlett woman last November.

Laura Grillo, 37, was found shot in the head on Nov. 13, 2015, a week before she was set to be married to one of the suspects, Ioannis "John" Makris, 38.

One of the other two suspects, Jesus Emmanuel Trevino, 30, was arrested in Clearwater, Florida, in April by the Marshal Service on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender out of Dallas.

Makris and Trevino have been charged and are already in custody in the Dallas County Jail.

The third suspect, James Villeda, is in custody in Dallas County on an unrelated charge, but police say he will also be charged with capital murder in the next several days.

Both Trevino and Villeda were employees of John Makris in a home remodeling business he ran with Grillo.

Grillo was also a former volunteer with the Rowlett Police Department and a mother of three.
