ROWLETT, Texas — Rowlett police arrested a teenager in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries over the course of seven months.
On Wednesday, detectives executed an arrest and search warrant in Garland and arrested a 17-year-old suspect. Police said the teen is linked to multiple car burglaries in Rowlett over the past seven months.
While searching the teen's home in the 6400 block of Magnolia Lane, the Rowlett SWAT Team and CID recovered four stolen firearms and seized several computers that are believed to be stolen.
No other details were released. Rowlett PD said the investigation is ongoing as the department is still sorting through evidence.
