Man killed in Tarrant County after being ran over in hit-and-run, police say

The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said the man was found lying in the middle of the street early Saturday morning.

TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — A man has died after being run over by a vehicle in southeastern Tarrant County, according to law enforcement officials.

The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said deputies were dispatched at approximately 4:52 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 to the 5300 block of Rendon Road. When the deputies got there, they found a man lying in the middle of the street who had been run over by a vehicle. 

The vehicle did not stay at the scene, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, TCSO said in a press release.

TCSO crash investigators are working to determine the cause of the incident, the release added.
