NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — A SWAT standoff in North Richland Hills ended with one man arrested on Saturday, Aug. 3.

According to North Richland Hills police, officers responded to the 7900 block of Harwood just after noon to the report of a suspect actively assaulting a victim.

Police say once officers arrived, the suspect fled the scene in a car. Officers then attempted to make a traffic stop, but the man continued to flee, according to police.
