The identities of the suspects and victims are still unclear, but police say both victims were male. One man was pronounced dead at the hospital, but the other victim's condition is unknown at this time.
The possible suspects in this shooting were detained after boarding an RTD bus.
Champa is closed from 17th to 19th while police investigate. Drivers are urged to avoid this area.
Police say the increased amount if officers on the 16th Street Mall helped aid the investigation.
