Dallas police release surveillance images of suspected hit-and-run driver

DALLAS — Dallas police are looking for the driver of a white SUV that struck and killed a pedestrian last month.

On Sept. 29, officers responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 5900 block of Abrams Road around 9:30 p.m., DPD said in a news release.

Police said a white SUV was traveling southbound and hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Abrams Road and Northwest Highway and never stopped.

The surveillance video captured what police described as a white Chevrolet Suburban with black rear doors and black trim pieces.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call police.
