FORT WORTH, Texas — One suspect is in custody following the killing of a delivery man on Saturday in Fort Worth, police say.

Officers were called Sunday to the 3900 block of Wendover Drive for an assault call. Upon arrival, police say they found a man dead with injuries to his upper torso and head.

On Wednesday, the man was identified as Scotty Edward Jackson, 51, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office. He died of blunt force injuries to his head and neck, the autopsy found.

A suspect was taken into custody on scene, police say, but the suspect's name has not been released.

A second victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released. Police say the suspect was also taken to a hospital after being stunned by responding officers.

The victim was reportedly making a delivery to a resident when the suspect attacked him, police say. The homeowner witnessed the assault and was also assaulted.
