SOUTHLAKE, Texas — No, we don't want no scrubs. But Southlake DPS does.

SDPS says they are looking for two women who stole merchandise from Ulta Beauty at 2900 E. Southlake Blvd.

The incident happened on July 12 around 4 p.m. and involved two women. One of the women involved was carrying a large black purse and wearing a dark shirt with ripped jeans. The second woman was wearing all-blue scrubs.

According to SDPS, the woman carrying the purse was also carrying a see-through orange shopping bag that the store provides. SDPS says the woman wearing scrubs served as a lookout while the other woman would grab fistfuls of makeup and throw them into her "giant black bulky bag", tossing a few products into the shopping bag to avoid suspicion.

After throwing the products in their bag, the pair would act like they were "swatching" makeup and throw the provided cleansing tissues on top of the stolen items in their bag, according to SDPS.

"Half of the caper is spent with her purse looking like a gift bag, with the tissue paper waving up top," SPDS said in a Facebook post.

In that same post, SDPS said the store's Loss Prevention team noticed the two stealing and stood in front of the exit. The department claims the woman in scrubs knocked over a display in an attempt to distract from the theft.

Loss Prevention confiscated the orange bag from the woman, but not before she grabbed even more product from it and put it in her purse, according to SDPS.

The department says the duo stole over $2,100 in products.

SDPS asks if you recognize these women, please contact crime analyst Diana Smith at DSmith@ci.southlake.tx.us or call her at 817-748-8915.
