ROWLETT, Texas — Rowlett police and detectives are investigating a shooting that sent three people to a hospital Friday night.
In a news release, the department said they got a call about the shooting at 9:19 p.m. on Jan. 13. The caller told them that the shooting happened at Twin Star Park on Armstrong Lane.
Officers found the three victims when they arrived at the park. None of their injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
In a news release on Jan. 27, the Rowlett Police Department said all three victims have been released from the hospital.
The department also said a suspect had been identified, but the name was not released to the public. The department said a warrant has been issued to arrest the suspect on a complaint of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Rowlett police said the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no active threat to the public.
