Two suspects are in custody after an alleged drive-by shooting in Rowlett that led to a police pursuit into Dallas overnight.

Police say around 12:15 a.m., a man fired toward a house in the 2600 block of Remington Drive in Rowlett. A mother and two children were inside the home at the time.

A Rowlett Police spokesperson described the shooting to News 8 as a “domestic incident.” Bullet holes could be seen in at least one window of the home, but no injuries were reported.

Someone inside the home provided Rowlett PD with information on a possible suspect. An officer responding to the call spotted the suspect vehicle and followed it westbound on Interstate 30 into Dallas.

Zseron Dukes (left) and Gary Grayson were taken into custody after a police chase from Rowlett to Dallas overnight.

It was later learned that there were two men inside the vehicle: Zseron Dukes, who was driving the vehicle, and Gary Grayson. One of the men threw a gun out the window of the car after Dallas police joined the chase near I-30 and Dolphin Road. The gun was later recovered.

The chase ended with a fiery crash on US 75 near Haskell. Both men were taken into custody.
