Three North Texans arrested after investigators find drugs, stolen vehicle and firearms at home, officials say

During the search, investigators seized illegal substances, drug paraphernalia, stolen vehicles and dozens of firearms.

RED OAK, Texas — Three people were arrested during a drug bust at an Ellis County home, officials say.

According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Lauren Chambers, 54-year-old Jon Michael Sullivan and 54-year-old Brad Murphy Tenhagen, all from Red Oak, have been booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.

At about 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Maple Leaf in Red Oak.

During the search, investigators seized illegal substances, drug paraphernalia, stolen vehicles and dozens of firearms. Here’s a complete list of what investigators recovered:

  • Kilo methamphetamine
  • 15 grams amphetamine
  • 3 grams alprazolam
  • 0.3 ounces of marijuana
  • 1 gram THC
  • 55 firearms (4 stolen)
  • Three stolen motorcycles
  • Two stolen vehicles
  • One stolen snap-on scanner
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • About $18,500 cash

According to the sheriff’s office, Chambers is being held in lieu of $500 bond, Sullivan is being held on a $200,000 bond and Tenhagen is being held on a $1,500 bond. No further details have been released.
